Corsage Bar - Prom Flowers in Knoxville

As florists in Knoxville, the spring is one of Lisa Foster Floral Design's favorite times of the year!  First comes a spell of warm weather.  Then comes the yellow… Forsythia and daffodils.  Then come the allergies (but that's okay…  We get our allergy shots and take our Claritin).  Next comes PROM!  And boy are we excited about prom this year!  We have our "corsage bar" all set up and ready to go.  Our "corsage bar", or our "prom bar" consists of everything you could possibly need for your prom flowers.  Come on into our shop, and we will walk you through the corsage process, starting with the bracelet…

We have your old-school elastic bands, and we have a variety of stunning keepsake bracelets.

If you're not into the wrist corsage and you want something smaller, or just want something different, we have the perfect ring corsage for you!

Gold is in this year, and we have plenty of gold for your choosing!

Next,  we will have you pick out ribbon to go with the dress.  You can match the ribbon to the dress color, or you can go with a neutral color for a guaranteed match.

Then we will choose the flower.  The traditional flower that we suggest is a white spray rose.  White goes with just about any dress color.  We can also do spray roses in pinks and purples, if the order is placed in advance.  If you want to get a little more fancy with the flower, we can use orchids.  We can also use gerber daisies if you are looking to add some color in the flower.

The final touch is the "bling".  Add some flare to your corsage!  You can choose from our most popular diamond "bling," beaded "bling," and even feathers.

Guys have fewer decisions to make, but we can still dress up a boutonniere by wrapping the stem in wire.  Gold and silver wire wrap are our most popular.

And then you have the final product and a wonderful prom night!

Corsage with spray roses… If you like this look, ask for a longer, up-the-arm corsage

Gerber daisies are the perfect accessory for a fun evening!

We are looking forward to serving you this prom season!  Just come by our shop at 6622 Kingston Pike or give us a call at 865. 951. 0660 to place an order!!

Knoville Tn Early Spring

When Knoxville Tn Flowers Start Blooming… So Do Florists

Florist in Knoxville, Lisa Foster Floral Design weighs in on early signs of spring. Though we have had a long winter these small signs of life have really been sweet to see. Any Knoxville commuter will tell you that the pops of yellow daffodils have been a refreshing sign that these chilly winter days are just about over.
The color yellow in both the daffodils and the forsythia bushes are just what Knoxvillians need! Yellow is such a wonderful color that can really help any gloomy mood. For a florist these little touches of yellow are encouraging, why? This means there are more flower colors to soon follow. We love to be surrounded by color (it's a florist thing!).
We have available fresh cut forsythia and daffodils to put in any fresh cut flower delivery for all Lisa Foster Floral Design customers. What better way to bring that small touch of early spring life from the outdoors to indoors. Send a birthday or anniversary arrangement with these small touches of yellow and it will not only be unique but well received. You will definitely brighten someones day with a fresh floral bouquet!

Abundance of Weddings

Wedding Flowers Season 2013 - Knoxville, TN

We have been in Wedding Wonderland (or next door to it!) for the past three months! To say that we are excited to see all of the photos from these weddings would be an understatement. 2013 has been the year of large receptions and lots of peach and coral! As a wedding vendor it is interesting to see trends our brides go with and this year has been peach, peach, and peach!
We laugh a LOT at LFFD, and since this year has been so "blushy" we like to quote the line from Steel Magnolia's, "My colors are blush and bashful...". The realm of blushes, pinks, peaches and corals has invaded Lisa Foster Floral Design. We have had some of the most beautiful bouquets walk out of this shop in the past few months. Thankfully we have awesome photographer friends that get photos up just days after the weddings take place. What did we do before social media?!?!
The team has pulled a lot of late-nights and long hours to pull off the magic that happens at Lisa Foster Design.
Don't feel sorry for us though, we have THE BEST time working with each other. Lets not call it work, it's more like... getting things done while hanging out with a group of friends. Check out some of the work we've done lately and you can see, we love what we do.
