Lost Sheep Ministry

When we went to the Lost Sheep Ministry’s Under the Bridge on Valentine’s Day we had no idea the effect it would have on every single member of the LFFD team.
We each came back with our hearts and eyes wide open. While under the bridge we saw first hand the need for jackets, socks and shoes…Something we take for granted everyday. We sit there and look at our shoes trying to decide which ones to wear… when here someone is asking for one pair of shoes so they are not walking barefoot on the rocks.

The Lost Sheep Ministry has a food truck set up so these men and women could get a hot fresh meal, a dental and medical outreach truck and even a shower truck. Seeing all of this put everything we had going on in our lives on hold. None of that mattered and after many prayers and discussions at work, the girls and guys at LFFD want to do more.

We have plans to go downtown each month and take items that are in need to the Lost Sheep Ministry.  We are sharing this because we want to extend this opportunity to each and every one of you. Spring is coming which means it will be time to clean out the closet… we are going to have a box set up here at Lisa Foster Floral Design and if you have any gently used clothing items or shoes you are needing to get rid of please bring it by here. (See list below of what is needed). We want to help these men and women who are just down on their luck. We want to show them love and compassion. God has laid this on our hearts and we want to help in anyway we can!

If you have any questions or want to help out more you can call us at 865-951-0660 or contact the Lost Sheep Ministry directly at 865.688.9636.
If you do not have any items to donate or don’t have the time to come out you are more than welcome to make a monetary donation to the Lost Sheep Ministry here http://lostsheepministry.org/donate/

And the 2017 Favorite is...

Greens, greens and more greens!!

This was the most popular trend throughout our 2017 wedding year!  It didn't matter the season, whether it was those hot summer days or those crisp fall evenings, the green and white bouquets were a hit!!

Brides pick this palette because it goes well with any other color they wish to incorporate into their wedding! Our brides used accent colors such as: lavender-grey; burgundy; and various shades of blue and pink.

Every bouquet looked astonishing.

One of our brides wanted her bridesmaid's bouquets to include the green and white color palette, but wanted her bouquet to stand out! She pulled from her accent colors and added burgundy into her bouquet, which gave it that dramatic splash of color she wanted.

Another one of our brides opted for all greenery bouquets for her bridesmaids, while she added a little bit of color into her bouquet. It was absolutely breathtaking!

As you can see green and white is IN... and it's in to stay!

We are perfectly content with this craze, even though all of these brides used green and white in their bouquets...they all look completely different, yet beautiful! You simply cannot go wrong with this romantic and timeless color palette.

Thank you to our beautiful brides!!

A Pop of Purple

We see almost every color palette in the wedding world come and go. We also see some that will always stay... like the blushes, pinks and creams! And then there are some that are just so pleasing to the eye, we want to keep looking at it!

Don't get us wrong we love the blushes and the pinks, they are absolutely delightful! But, we love seeing different color palettes pop up. We have seen some purples this year that have been exquisite

We couldn't wait to share them with you!

This year our brides picked plum colored dresses or a bewitching lavender shade that has just taken our breath away.

We hardly see Calla Lily's in bouquets, but we love when we get to use them! There are so many different colors of the Calla's. The white with the purple centers were stunning.

We love how this bride captivated us with all the shades of purple. Each bridesmaid had on a different shade and different style dress.

These purples are some of our favorites! The color in the bouquet makes everything stand out. Those lavender roses are always so classy! The hue makes each bouquet burst with elegance.

What do you think about the purples? Are you falling in love like we are? Or do you go for the pinks and blushes?

What is your favorite color palette for a wedding?

Summer Weddings

Do you feel that?

That's the warmth of sun heating up, the pools opening up and the call of the beach whispering in your ear!

All this can mean one thing... Summer is upon us! And that means SUMMER WEDDINGS!!

Summer weddings are full of lush greenery, vibrant colors, and occasionally that summer rain shower.

Our brides each had different ideas of how they wanted their perfect summer wedding to go! From the bold bright colors to the subtle ivory's and blushes. Some brides chose the "picked out of the garden" look, while others chose the cascading bouquet.

Warm up with some of our 2016 summer weddings to get you ready for all the fun to come this year!!
